NOTE: the following time schema is even just a bit too tight. Make sure you go at least one hour earlier. ALso, once you are at the top of the Gondelbahn you need to do another 30 minutes walk uphill to get to the actual place where you see the sunset.

SBB sells this as one trip. Tickets for train and bus, and voucher for the LRW Gondelbahn.

  • (train earlier is 18h47, later is 19h31 and 19h47)
• Train to Liestal - 15 minutes
• 19h30 Arrival Liestal
• Walk to busstation - 5 minutes
• Bus 70 to Reigoldswil - 25 minutes
• 19h50 - 20h - Arrival Reigoldswil Dorfplatz
• Walk to LRW station  - Gondelbahn - 15 minutes
• Gondelbahn - 15 minutes
• Arrival Wasserfallen 20h30
• Sunset on 5. August is at 20h59
• Gondelbahn back at 21h30 (latest is at 23h)
• We expect to be back in Basel SBB at 22h45
• Latest busses and trains till midnight
